Aries opens the zodiac, and it behaves like it. Ruled by Mars and cardinal by modality, it is the sign of the first move — the one made while everyone else is still weighing options. Aries would rather act imperfectly now than correctly next month, and it recovers from being wrong far faster than most signs recover from being cautious.
Aries courts openly and without strategy — the interest is visible from across the room, which is either the appeal or the problem. It wants to be chosen back just as plainly. What sustains an Aries is a partner with their own centre of gravity: agreement gets taken for granted, resistance gets respected.
Give an Aries the opening move and clear ground and they will take the field. They do well where initiative is rewarded and stall badly in anything that runs on consensus and sign-off. The pattern to watch is the tenth month of a project, when the founding excitement has gone and the maintenance has not become interesting.
Money arrives in bursts and leaves on impulse, usually on things that feel like acceleration — equipment, travel, the upgrade. The earning capacity is genuinely strong. The missing step is the pause between wanting and buying, and Aries rarely installs it voluntarily.
